Several events are held every year in Flatonia! The biggest and most popular is Czhilispiel (pronounced “Chili – Spill”), but there are several throughout the year, and can be an easy weekend get-away for those living in Houston, San Antonio, Victoria, Austin, even New Orleans and Dallas!

2012 Events include:

• Flatonia Market Day & Art Fest and the Texas Independence Relay Exchange Zone - March 31st, 2012.  The 2012 dates are 26th, 27th & 28th.
• Market Days – held almolst quarterly; Buy or sell household items, antiques, produce, arts & crafts, jewelry etc. March 31, June 9, Dec. 8, 2012
• Crawfest – in April 21, 2012
• Independence Day Celebration in Flatonia - TBA
• Praska Pout – in Praha, every August 15th
• CZHILISPIEL 40 - Oct.  26, 27 & 28th, 2012
• Christmas in Flatonia - December 1st – Lighting of Christmas Village;
•  Wonderful Winter Wine Walk - Friday, Dec. 7th
•  Merry Market (Arts & Crafts), Cookie & Candy Carnival, Santa & Mrs. Claus-              Sat., Dec. 8th
